Dry Box Filament Passage with Filter

Dry Box Filament Passage with Filter

I was searching for a seal that keeps the filament from spilling into the box and maintains it inside dry and spotless. After printing the seal, I sliced an everyday sponge into small pieces. Next, I screwed the seal to the box from the inside, placed 3 pieces of the sponge around the threaded filament, and stuffed them tightly in there. Finally, I secured the cap firmly on top. The more sponge you insert, the greater force the extruder must exert to pull it out of the box. You may need to adjust the holes for the filament using a screwdriver or drill. With this seal, your filament will stay dry and pristine.
