Dry Fire Block for Umarex Colt Commander BB/Airsoft

This handy little piece allows you to safely dry-fire your Umarex Colt Commander BBgun without fear of damaging the mechanism. Since all Umarex 1911 style models are based on basically the same design, this may work for any or all of them including the Airsoft versions. I have only tested it with the BB version. It is tiny and only takes a few minutes to print so try it out and report back if it works on another model. Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 75% Notes: PLA filament works fine but if you have some nylon filament that would be even better. ABS would also work. If printed 100% scale, this is a very tight fit and works perfectly in my case. You may want to try slightly varying the x or y scale to adjust the fit. Too loose is bad since it pops out when used but too tight can mean difficulty in removing and you may need a small screwdriver to pry it out. It only takes a tiny amount of filament and prints in a few minutes so experiment.
