so I was doing some drywall joint taping and very quickly became tired of having to set down on the floor the roll of drywall joint paper tape. So naturally this turned into another opportunity to make something useful. Print Settings Printer: Flash-forge Dreamer Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .27 Infill: 10% Notes: I printed the base flat against the heat bed with the shaft vertically. I did use the auto supports feature of the flash print software from Flash-forge. The end stop was simply printed flat and it was done on the lowest resolution with only 5% fill. This part has no stress on it when the paper roll is added on the shaft. This piece simply twists on with a quarter turn. The unrolling motion of the tape helps keep in on. After some use I began to feel annoyed by the roll of joint paper tape becoming undone when I lent forward, so I made a bigger end stop and this solved the problem.
