This is a 3ds game holder that fits into a slot for a ds console in a hardshell case. My son has two of these game cases and he only needs one console slot so this allows the other case's console slot to be used to store more games. Note, the existing game slots in the case were notched with an xacto knife to fit 3ds games, this is a original DS case that just happens to fit his new 2ds xl.
