DS4 Rack

DS4 Rack

thingiverse

This rack is designed for to hold four DualShock 4 controllers for the PS4. The base is a separate entity so as to facilitate 3D printing. Version 1 can be printed flat on its side within a 200mm x 200mm build platform. Version 2 removes an issue where the hook had a tendency to press the PS button during placement/removal. The "hook" was designed to fit the contour of the DS4 frame with the joysticks. The entire part can be printed as one, but I recommend using the split version to reduce the amount of support material, and to make any possible failed prints less frustrating. You can connect the two halves by using either adhesive, heating the sides and fusing them together, or using ethyl acetate to dissolve the sides and fuse them together (similar to acetone with ABS). All pieces were designed in SolidWorks 2017. Each STL file has been checked in Meshmixer for holes. I have included the project files (SLDPRT) if anybody would like to play with them. If you don't have SolidWorks, don't worry, you can open them in Fusion360.
