DSA Keycaps - optimized for FDM printing

thingiverse

This keycap set is optimized for easy and reproducible printing on an FDM printer (e.g. Ender3), while providing a good fit. Changes over the original keycap set include: * 45° bevel edge on the bottom for better bed adhesion * stem socket as a separate piece to glue on * hole in the bottom of the keycap to fit the stem socket The keycaps are meant to be printed at a 45° angle with supports. Tree support works well enough. A brim is recommend, but might not be strictly necessary. Printing with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12mm layer height works good enough. Care must be taken with the z-steam setting, the seam should go on the outside of the stem, having it on the inside can lead to fit issues. The stem tightness can be fined tuned with the "Horizontal expansion" setting in Cura. When printing multiple keycaps or stems it is recommended to use the "one at a time" setting in Cura, as this will give reproducible results, printing them together can lead to the z-seam getting in weird places. Use a deburring tool for quick cleanup of the edges. Fit tested with Gateron Brown and Outemu Blue switches, not tested with switches that have box-style stems.
