DSG Refill Adapter

DSG Refill Adapter

I designed a little adapter to refill my DSG transmission according to VW specs. I happened to have a peristaltic pump laying around with an inner diameter of 4mm and outer diameter of 7mm. So I designed this adapter to fit the same tube as the pump.

I designed it in two parts that screw together to have a nice surface for it to seal to the transmission. Just glue it with some Loctite or similar.

It has a M24x1.5 thread and can carefully be tightened to the transmission with a 15mm wrench.

The parts lay on the side. Just flip it 90° in the slicing software.

It is still a Work-In-Progress because I hadn't had the chance to test fit it to my transmission. I'll edit it in a few days if it fitted. Otherwise I'll update the thing.

It fitted nicely to the transmission!

ATTENTION! I managed to break the hose connecting part during one oil change due to the heat building up in the part... It wasn't a problem to complete the change or to get the remaining part out but be careful to not put lateral force on the part during the oil change!

Print instructions

Category: Automotive Summary

I designed a little adapter to refill my DSG transmission according to VW specs.
