This is a case / enclosure for the very small and cheap DSO188 digital oscilloscope. It replaces the standard PCB case, offering more protection with minimal size increase. It reuses the 8 pcs supplied screws to mount the new case to the DSO188. [Electronic parts needed] DSO188 Digital Oscilloscope [MOUNTING STEPS] 1) Remove 8 screws from the DSO188 and remove PCB front/back cover. 2) Place the printed front cover of the enclosure with opening for the screen downwards. 3) Insert the printed buttons and switch cover (Go to Mounting Hint for ease) 4) Insert the DSO188 into the front of the enclosure, carefully allign the on/off switch with the printed switch cover. 5) Put the printed back cover on and mount 4 screws in place. 6) Hold onto the both the front and back of the case so that it wont separate, rotate it around, and mount the remaining 4 screws. [MOUNTING HINT] Please note that you can use small pieces of tape to hold the printed buttons/switch in place while mounting the oscilloscope into the case, then remove the tape once it's in place before placing the back cover, this can be of good help with the otherwise fiddly operation :) The button functions as displayed on the back PCB originally is still present, but shortened on the back cover; M for Mode, A for Auto, and a play/stop icon instead of Run/Stop text. Please be careful when removing the buttons from the buildplate to not stretch the thin plastic. Please note that the oscilloscope does not support "single trigger" if that's important for you.
