This remix was done to extend the fan mount allowing for the inclusion of an activated charcoal sponge for filtration. The remix includes an extended box section and the new grid. This grid is a press fit into the box and is a separator between the charcoal sponge and the fans. During assembly ensure that your fans are mounts to suck air from the case (through the filter) and eject it. Once the fans are mounted and wired push the grid section in as far as it can go, it will rest above the fans. Aquire some activated charcoal sponge, mine can from the local pet store and is used in fish tanks. Cut the sponge to fit. NOTE: If your sponge needs to be held into place you can print a second grid to hold this down. I used low speed, quiet, high flow fans from GELID. I have used these fans a lot and they are great quality and long lasting. The wiring for these is all black so included is a reference image to help wiring the fans to 12v. I sourced my 12v (200mA) from the printers main PSU (along with the 12v for my E3D hotend fan). A reference image is included, however you can use any 12v source that can provide 200mA Print Settings Printer: DaVinch 1.0A Modded Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20%
