Dual Color Add Your Logo Business Card Holder The stl file is of a blank business card holder but its designed to allow you to add your logo in a separate color, like the picture shown. There is a 1-1/2" x 3-7/8" area for your logo to be added. The holder is designed so that the logo surface is the last to be printed and is horizontal to the build plate so when the card holder is complete you can start a print of your logo in another color. Directions Load the stl file for the business card holder in your slicer and leave the orientation so the surface where the logo is going to go is horizontal to the build plate. There is a surface on the back of the card holder that is parallel to the logo surface, that is the surface that will sit on the build plate. Next center the card holder on your build plate. Print the card holder but don't remove it from the build plate. Once complete load the .stl file for your logo in your slicer and center it on the build plate. Then offset the z axis 40mm, and the y axis -20mm (this amount is subtraced from the current value.) This will put your logo right in the center of the logo surface. Change your filament color, prime it, and print the logo on top of the card holder. Notes: ● If you print the holder on a raft you will have to add that in the z axis offset when you print the logo. ● My printer needs to home before each print so in order to avoid a collision I printed on glass and made sure the front corner was square to the build plate before printing. Between prints I removed the glass(with the print) to let it home then paused the printer and put the glass back in making sure it was square with the corner of the build plate.
