The best effect can be achieved with multimaterial addon for your printer - like MMU, Mosaic Palette or ERCF. In other cases you can print with color change (manual pause) at specific height (recommended 6mm as shown on the last picture) with M600 command. For dual or single color there are still two options - with or without fillet at the bottom. It is worth mentioning that fillet option has overhangs and require sufficient print cooling.
