i made this mount to fit dual e3d v6 clone hotend's on to my cheap ctc prusa i3 pro b with this X-carriage http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1329854 by Sectorix. I had been using https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:617691 by Triggerr and loved it, so thought id try and remix. The cover has a hole for a 12mm inductive sensor (it's a tight squeeze but does fit), and 2 5mm LED lights, and a 40mm fan. I pointed the ducts up to reduce drafts onto the prints. This is still a work in progress, im currently testing it and so for the only issue is clearance on the the left front bed bolt, since i run a 3mm aluminum heat bed i just removed the bolt. i made this on tinkercad and im a NOOB to designing but i did my best. The 4 mount holes are for 4mm nuts (using 4mm i couldn't move it around) so once installed using 3mm bolts and nuts the mount can be leveled a bit so you shouldn't need a Z-offset. the X-offset i have is -29.4mm (my #1 is on the right). I still use the GT2560 clone board that came with my printer which has the atmega1280 chip (works well except for the lack of memory). To get dual extruder settings to fit and bed leveling to fit in the memory i had to shut off PID temp and go with Bang Bang heating. 8/19/17 Added picture of fan installed, I have learned that if using PLA you should definitely cover the hotend with at least cotton insulation so the fan duct doesn't warp on your first layer without fan or when you're print finish's. I still haven't created the servo with touch sensor yet but it's on my to-do list EDIT 6/12/17 Added Fan duct, i just finished it and sent it to printer. Sorry about the design, im still learning Tinkercad. So far squares, holes, and wedge's are what i can figure out. I wanted it to have basically a teardrop cross section but that's beyond my abilities, Soooo wedge it is. Fan duct uses 2x 30mm fans, the ones that came with my v6 hot end are what i measured it up for. the holes should allow the screws to thread straight in with no nuts
