Dual Filament Runout Sensor Mount

Replicated and then built upon SB43201's design for a filament runout sensor. I made this a dual filament runout sensor, made it mountable to a 2020 frame using t-nuts, extended the filament inlet and outlet paths to accept PTFE tubing, and ensured that the filament had a straight path into the stock extruder on the Ender 5. If you mount your second extruder using my design here (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4104446), the filament path for the second extruder will line up as well.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 5

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

.2

Infill:

20%

Filament: Hatchbox PLA Black

Notes:

Print using supports for the "wings" and install sections of PTFE tubing on both the inlets and outlets.

Category: 3D Printer Parts
