Dual Filter Funnel (Rough/Fine) for Resin, IPA, etc

***LATEST UPDATE:** The original collar was meant to sit comfortably within the funnel. In practice, it's not as stable as I would have liked. So I designed a new one that sits on the rim of the funnel itself, and hopefully should be much more stable* I came across VOG's video on cleaning IPA solution, and intrigued by his design for a more efficient funnel by adding holes to it. However, there were a number of things I didn't like about the design: - The shape wasn't exactly suited to the coffee filters; they're circular at the top and pinch at the bottom. The shape of his funnel was a straight cone which isn't right (and even then it wastes a lot of the filter because it's mostly folded over the side) - The holes are cut horizontally, but gravity acts vertically. The design relies on some pressure to push the liquid out to the sides - There is too much surface area for my liking. It's a great idea, but not executed as far as it could have been. - The two funnels don't come apart for cleaning, or even using two filters (i.e. a rough filter in the form of coffee filter, and then a fine one for what's left) I didn't think it worth the £12 he was asking. So, I designed this with some key ideas in mind: - It should support any combination of a rough (coffee) and/or fine filter - Print without supports - Be efficient with the surface area - Match the shape of the filters as closely as possible - Easy to print/assemble (I prefer multiple parts for this, so if one fails, it's not a complete waste) And this is what I came up with...
