This visualiser is a bit more interesting to watch than your standard visualizer.

It works really well , but follow the steps bellow to make sure it works well for you.

The challenge with this one is that you need very clean parts in order for it to work. Resistance has to be at an absolute minimum since the torque available is limited by the friction between the magnet and the motor.

To achieve the least resistance, I print with ironing ON to get smoother surfaces (less friction) and I make sure to remove all imperfections and stringing, especially around the smaller gear pin. Make sure you get that small gear to spin freely. I also print on the smooth sheet as the textured sheet results in rougher surfaces and adds friction to the assembly.

You will need to glue a 8X3mm magnet on the back of the big gear.

The small gear is held in place with the printed c-clip.

The mount just snaps on to the extruder motor.

I've included a gcode with a color change for those who like a bit of contrast.

Enjoy!

<oembed url="https://youtu.be/POSq887z_7s"></oembed>
