This allows you to connect an extra hose for air intake to a MIDEA air conditioner ("Comfee" brand here in Germany), in order to have a more economic operation. You've got to glue the hose holder to the main body and use the factory made end connector for the hose. I ordered the connector as a replacement. While attaching it, I noticed that duct tape alone won't do it and used some zip ties for which I had to drill holes. You might want to add these holes to the design. The adhesive tape is transparent, and thus hard to notice in the pictures. It's covering all air intakes around the adapter.
