DON'T STEAL THIS BY SELLING IT ON EBAY !! FIRST ASK ME !! You will need 4 M2 screws with 20mm thread and 4M2 screws with 7-12mm thread (I use 12mm) Update 24.02.2019 I found out that N40 motor is much bigger same as N30 so I designed new mount and it will be posted as separate design :) Update 23.02.2019 I know I did not work on this for long time but I have so many RC projects that I don't have time for this :( Because I want to change N20 motors to new stronger N40 I printed N30 cover and on Cura I notice so many holes like in cheese :D I uploaded new v4 covers that have fixed holes and that make it more easy to print :) I also make names shorter because what did I think in that days ?? :D Update 13.07.2018: I added new Max clearance mount and that is combined base and bottom to move motors up so there is more space under car. This design is more for C14 and C24 because I notice people wanted more clearance. I will not test this design because I use v3 in My trucks but this is designed from bottom and base so there should be no problems This part should work ideal with this upgrade set :) https://www.banggood.com/WPL-Metal-Gear-Bridge-Axle-Set-And-OP-Accessory-For-B-1-B-24-B-16-C-24-116-4WD-6WD-RC-Car-Parts-p-1307752.html?p=5G2717320323201310AJ&cur_warehouse=CN If You don't have printer and You want to Purchase My designed parts You can contact this people: Danielle from Australia - dc-3d@outlook.com Stef from United Kingdom - stefygoodman@live.co.uk Jay from United States - jaymillz3d@gmail.com Henryk from Germany (only in PTEG) - Henryk.stenzel@gmx.net (If You want your mail to be here just write to Me) Parts are designed to be easy to print and assembly :) If You want to print anything else just ask theme :) In this moment My designs are: Dual N20 motors mount Servo holder Rear bumper with lights and hook (little hard to print and noone confirm this work) Leaf springs (in progress) Designs are here: https://www.thingiverse.com/Adrian202/designs But they can print that better than Me :D If You want to sell this part just ask me, don't worry I'm ok with that but there are some stuff that we can talk about :) Little update: I uploaded cover for N30 motors because some people asked for that motors and they are longer than N20 (longer magnets = more torque that is what I think) so I removed back wall and other two parts from N20 motors should work fine with N30 motors :) There is new v3 version !! Its nothing new just mirrored v2 design so shafts are on correct side same as on wheels :) I have removed old versions but You can still find that on Tinkercad Lets talk about this design and what motors chose: This design use N20 motors that have metal gearing reduction. 1. What speed ?? Motors in all N20 spin with same speed and reduction change output speed but less output speed = more torque !! because motor spin with same speed on lower output speed motor need to make more turn to spin that and that generate more torque. I use 160 RPM because i like this speed :) On 300 RPM it would have less torque and more speed. 2.Less speed so it will stop easy ?? No, motors have good metal reduction and there are two motors so still if front wheels will block rear will still spin and that motors are used in RC winch so that is not easy to stop that by hand :) 3. 6v or 12v ?? That will depend on battery !! N20 motor will have full power on that voltage so if You plan to put 2S battery it will have max torque on 6v-8.4v and if You plan to use 3S battery it will have full power on 12v -12.6v But I think they all are designed on one voltage and that is 6v because this motor is small but I cant confirm that. 4. Motors can spin in not synchronized speed ?? Yes, because of not precise motors and some force for wheels mechanism it may spin in different speed. I don't care about that because for Me it's just a toy but if You want to fix that you can use two ESC (one for each motor) that will allow You to adjust speed when You connect it to separate channels and just clone signal from one to another channel (only on more advanced transmitters) 5. If one motor will blocked second one will have more power ?? Hard to say, someone say this would happen and all power will be transferred to spining motor like in differential. In My situation motors just keep spinning and car jumps trying to get on obstacle :D But to reduce that You can use separate ESC and both motors will have separate power 6. 10A or 20A ESC ?? Honestly ?? 5A :D I don't think this motors can draw more than 1A on stall each :D so no matter what You chose and also servo circuit can control it as well :D 7. What is that yellow thing on motor ?? Do I need it ?? Its ceramic capacitor 100nF (number 104) Brushed motors generate noise that may make servo nuts and this reduce that noise. It also work as a flywheel to reduce small voltage drops and make it work smooth. So do You need it ?? Not really !! All ESC have build in capacitors and servo have own capacitors but it's always good to add one on motors because capacitor on each side make it more stable. Someone say it keep power on same level and that may be true because capacitor work al a battery and store power but also capacity is so small that don't make difference when You turn motor off :D I'm not NASA engineer so I may be wrong but this is how I understand this but if You want to add something here write that in comments. That dual motor holder is one of My first designs and due to My printer problems I could not test that v2 version but You did that for me and I also want to thank You for being kind :) There is group where I will post all designs for WPL and also wil ask for other designers to post their parts: https://www.thingiverse.com/groups/wpl-rcs/things Movie about this motor mount is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXQ15yeI-FE&feature=youtu.be And here You can find windows temples: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=38621254&postcount=128 Motors that i used are N20 6v 160 RPM from here: https://www.banggood.com/N20-DC-Gear-Motor-Miniature-High-Torque-Electric-Gear-Box-Motor-p-924377.html?p=5G2717320323201310AJ Because original motor is designed to work on 6v this car on 2s battery is stupid fast :) so i designed dual N20 motor mount where You can chose how fast this car will be. There are 3 versions of mount but v1 and v1.2 use same base. On my pictures You can see old version of v1 and while i mount that i started to modify and upgrade it. Difference between version v1 and v1.2 is that v1.2 is closed behind motor and don't have holes for mounting motor (cover hold motor well) v2 version have modified motors position. When i mounted first version (that i will use) i notice that motors are far away from wheels and shaft's are slightly slide in but i just move joint's on motor axle far and that worked. In v2 motor's are closer to wheels so shaft will slide more inside each other. Base for all models have hole inside to reduce weight and i mounted my ESC there. On both sides of base are holes to mount it to metal bars and to mount tank's. All holes are 2mm and to mount tank's You can use original screws with no problem. I drilled all holes that screws go through to let it slide better and leave others as printed to let screws screw in better. As for shaft joint's they are hard as hell !! i finally drill 1mm holes and next drill theme out with 1.5mm drill. I used screws from original motor mound to hold motor axle and that worked great :). I will post here link to movie where is how how i mounted it and try to make movie to show how it all work and how fast it is but it's winter so i will need to make movie in home. I think this will also work with heng long 3853A but i don't have it so can't confirm that Under this adress: https://www.tinkercad.com/users/ijdXrBIYp5t-adrian202gt You can find and edit all my WPL parts so You can customize it for Your project. Like always my printer still don't work fully but it's better now so it may or may not fis as perfect as for me but all dimensions are adjusted to exact real parts dimensions so if printer is calibrated it will all fit :) If You like my designs You can send a tip to let Me buy new filament :D https://www.paypal.me/adrian202rc
