Dual NEMA17 stepper bracket

Dual NEMA17 stepper bracket

This is a bracket that perches on a 3/4-inch plywood board and holds two NEMA 17 stepper motors side by side. I designed this for use on a drawbot I'm building - I decided to center the motors to simplify wiring. I'll just place two pulleys at the top edges of the plywood where the motors would normally go. The shape is optimized for printing on a Makerbot Replicator. Instructions The piece is saved in a position that is optimized for printing - you should be able to load the STL into replicatorg, generate gcode (I'd recommend at least 20% infill), and print. UPDATE: The bracket fits well (you'll probably want to use the screw-holes to really secure it to the plywood), but the circular indentation around the shaft might not fit every NEMA 17 motor - I'm about to upload a version (filename has "no_indent" in it) without that feature. I'm also attaching some photos of the drawbot so far - I'm using two of LoialOtter's pulleys (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26295) and two of these awesome pulleys from Electronics Goldmine (http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/prodinfo.asp?number=G16273).
