This is a Subaru WRX 2002 dual USB port replacement knockout that are inserted into the center console area near your E Brake. This is designed as a clam shell with 3 guide pins to allow for precise assembly as a replacement Subaru specific housing for the following dual USB Port. I recommend a box knife and cut it in such a way that you can slide the USB ports from the dashboard panel mount. Print both halves of the Port Cover and 3 of the guide pins. Use Silicon on the pins before inserting them into one of the halves. Apply Silicon to the mating surface between Side A and B as well as inside the area where the USB cables go. Insert the USB cables and wipe off any excess, note the USB cables are directional when inserted, there is a slightly wider asymmetric area on the cable end. Take note of which cable goes to which port and use a quick clamp to hold pressure for at least 6 hours to allow the Silicon to cure. Remove knock out panel from your center console, note it has retaining clips on the back side, you will need to remove the trim around your e-brake to get to it (the trim should be held on with clips). Feed and secure USB wires to your head unit and insert the Port cover into your E Brake center console. Note, the USB Port Cover is Directional. Print in TPU if possible or PETG as PLA will melt inside the car. Check fit and apply shims/electrical tape or add thickness to the part for better fit. IPT is attached for modification.
