Dualstrusion Remix of Nick's Replacement Faucet handles

thingiverse

I just made a remix of Nick's Replacement Faucet handles (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:719825) as I have a dual extruder machine and wanted to take advantage of that instead of having to print the eyes separately and having to glue them in. Also the files are in STL format so you can print without needing to load openscad and compile/export the files. You can still print the eyes separately or you can use your program to combine the crossbones and eyes into a single print with dual colors. Note: The STL files were saved with an offset from center for my FF Creator Pro build plate to avoid the slight imperfection resulting from the center screw holding the build plate but you can move them if you like, just be sure that if you move one of the files you also move the other (with the exception of the faucet file) in the same way if you are planning to use dual extrusion. Instructions Print each file individually or use the dual extrusion feature of your program to combine the crossbones and eyes files. The faucet file is still needed as it is the interface between the faucet and handle. If you need a different faucet adapter you will need to grab the openscad file from Nick's Replacement Faucet at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:719825 and modify it to suit your needs. I printed in ABS with 50% fill, .15mm layer thickness, and 2 shells.
