Parts for improving the Duchess board game table made by boardgametables.com. Support Bracket The support bracket is designed to screw underneath the table and pull the plywood vault bottom down flush with the support braces. This was to eliminate bowing in the vault plywood floor, and to lock everything together to avoid having a loose feeling vault floor that made noise when setting pieces and cards down. You will want about 8 of them. Use #6 screws 1/2" length to pull it all together. Cup Shim The cup shim is designed to replace the nut and washer provided with the cup holders. The intent is to provide a larger flat surface for the cup holder to rotate against with respect to the bottom of the side rail and avoid tilting of the cup holder in rotation, scratching the surface. Since there isn't a lock nut any longer, I'd recommend a little Locktite on the 6mm hex screw to prevent it from rotating and working it's way lose over time. Also pre-drilling the hole slightly larger than the 6mm screw will help the shim rotate around the screw without the screw trying to rotate. These designs have not been thoroughly tested, and may be refined, but I have installed these on my table. So far I am happy with the results.
