Duck Toy (with mechanical parts!)

Duck Toy (with mechanical parts!)

grabcad

My girlfriend and I developed this duck as a participation for the Ultimaker 3D Printer Toy Design Challenge. Our idea was it to create a toy that is solid and interesting at the same time. We think kids between 3 and 12 years can play with it best. To assemble to duck you have to print the STL one time, it includes all parts you need. Maybe you want to print some parts in other colors. We recommend to print the duck yellow, the wings orange and the wheels black or brown. Everything should snap together, maybe you want to use some glue and (kid friendly) oil to make the wheels run smoother. To make the mechanic part work you have to attach some rubberbands between the back wheel and the moveable part in the middle of the duck. This will make the wings move up and down (or: the duck will try to fly).
