Duet WIFI Case

Duet WIFI Case

thingiverse

This is a case I designed to house the Duet WIFI board, it is designed to mount in the corner of two 2020 extrusions as shown in the pictures. There are 2 40mm fans integrated into the case to allow for cooling, I have mine connected to a PWN output and controlled to turn on at a CPU temp of 40C. This may be overkill as I rarely hear them turn on, my CPU temps are usually right around 39C even on really long prints. There is access on the front of the case to release the Micro SD card if needed (you will need something to press it in to eject it as it is recessed). The reset button is also accessible (again with something to press it as it is recessed). The erase button is not accessible and there is a relief on the inside of the case to provide space for it if your board has it mounted closer to the edge (I think there were multiple revisions of the location of this button). The case is designed to get as much of the WIFI antenna into open air as possible to allow for better reception. The holes to mount the lid and the board are sized to be tapped with a 4mm tap before installing screws, if you are going to screw directly into the plastic you may need to resize the holes before you print this. I have included the Fusion 360 files and Step files for both parts, feel free to remix this to meet your needs. But please mark them as a remix of this original design.
