I used the split version as it makes supports easy, otherwise those teeth have no chance on a standard PLA printer. Lots of fun to paint, printed about the size of a golf ball makes a nice little wobbly paperweight. May attract fruit flies... print at your own risk. The correct answer to whether to get matt varnish or gloss is yes, get both - especially if you use Vallejo paint.
