DumBlanky - 9 mm P.A.K Training Dummy Blank

Repeat! on Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/makebreakrepeat/): Updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays!* To train friends and family on handling a blank/pepper gun safely I modelled "DumBlanky", the blank dummy round in 9 mm P.A.K caliber. Caliber 9 mm P.A.K is the common 9 mm blank/pepper/teargas round for semi-automatic self-defence handguns in Germany. There are four versions of this model available. The versions V5 and V6 are modelled to even work when printed with a not too well tuned printer. The version V7 is modelled close to 9 mm P.A.K specifications. The latest version vX prints exactly to specs on my Original Prusa i3 MK2s printer using Prusa Silver PLA filament - which actually proved to produce a sturdy training round consistently. I would recommend to try vX first. After printing make certain the dummy can be inserted into the chamber without using force. Trust me, you don't want to end up with a brittle PLA blank dummy stuck in your gun. It's a nightmare to get those out! I would also strongly recommend to use a filament that is more on the flexible side and not too brittle to prevent it from breaking on ejection. That said I was successful in chambering and ejecting all versions in various PLAs.
