Dummy Jumper

Dummy Jumper

thingiverse

In all the effort to pry parts from the platform, I was reminded of the concern with leaving naked the ABP motor pins on the heater board, so I followed Ed's suggestion here http://softsolder.com/2011/04/15/thing-o-matic-protect-the-abp-motor-terminals-on-an-hbp/ and printed a dummy jumper. Instructions If you print the one hole version you must be careful to check that your print doesn't push the pins together! In order to get a good enough print I had to set Cool>Minimum Layer Time to 5. The openscad file has code for a jumper with two separate holes, but I haven't printed it successfully yet. Update--I'll post the .stl, but expect it to be more difficult to print. Also, imagine a "dummy jumper" is something way cooler than this.
