Dungeon Wall Corners (Core Set)

Dungeon Wall Corners (Core Set)

I started this project after considering printing out a bunch of dungeon tiles. I ultimately decided that it didn’t match well with my GMing style, which often doesn’t even involve dungeons, strictly speaking, and usually has me sketching out combat areas on a battle map on the fly. With that in mind, I designed these wall corners. The basic idea is that you can make any square or rectangular room bigger than 20 x 20 by setting these corner pieces out on a battle grid, using your imagination to fill in the missing walls. For more complex rooms, you can print out extra corners. It’s not a pretty or impressive as a full tile set, but my hope is that once I put out more of these, they will allow people to print out wall corners in lots of different styles, using a fraction of the time and filament it would take to print out a set of dungeon tiles in a single style. In this “core set,” I’ve got three styles: rough stonework (for general dungeons and whatnot), wood, (for taverns, guild halls, etc.) and gothic arches (for elven palaces or cathedrals). I’m also hoping to design some free-standing doors, since the two most crucial pieces of information about a room in D&D tend to be its size and where its doors are. Finally, I’m also compiling a collection of other designers’ terrain pieces that would go nicely with this minimalist approach, which you can view [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/Xenophon13/collections/minimalist-dungeon-terrain).
