I've created these slightly impractical alternatives to business cards based off the parametric Duplo brick. Printing a full brick takes about an hour so instead I created a flat base plate by removing the "nibbles" in openScad and then used the Ponoko tutorial listed below to create a typeface (Herron Condensed works great) to add the text. I can now hot swap details onto the bricks depending on what information I want to give out. More details and pics athttp://www.brendandawes.com/project/momento-bricks/ The MK6 Stepstruder really makes a difference when printing stuff with text - it's a wonderful piece of kit. I also used the new 1.7mm filament - nuclear green is very cool. Instructions You'll need to create a typeface - there's a great tutorial on the Ponoko blog: http://blog.ponoko.com/2011/06/30/adding-3d-fonts-to-openscad/ Then simply import the stl file below and place your text.
