The rapid economic growth is drastically reshaping the face of Duqm in south-central Oman. Construction projects in Wadi Saay pose a threat to the ancient trilith stone monument OM.WU.062, a mysterious relic from 2000-year-old cultural and spiritual practices that remain shrouded in mystery. The Trilith Stone Monuments of Oman project is embarking on an extensive field research program to unravel these enigmatic monuments. During the initial field expedition, the endangered trilith monument was relocated from Duqm to The National Museum Oman in Muscat for preservation. This poster outlines the meticulous preparation (a carefully developed methodology and 3D photogrammetry), archaeological excavation (dismantling and wrapping with precision), and restoration (reassembly for a permanent exhibit). We present here a detailed 3D model of the relocated trilith monument OM.WU.062.
