Durafly Tundra RC Airplane Tail Strut Supports

Durafly Tundra RC Airplane Tail Strut Supports

thingiverse

Remix of the tail strut supports for the Hobby King Durafly Tundra. The ones provided in the kit are very flimsy and broke when gluing. I redesigned the tail strut support so you do not have to cut any foam and do not need supports while printing. Use the carbon fiber tail struts provided with the model but remove the heat shrink. Glue the carbon fiber strut into the top and bottom strut supports. Ensure you have the correct strut supports glued to each other. Sand the bottom of the strut support a few times with 100 grit sandpaper to rough up the surface. Clean all joining surfaces with rubbing alcohol and glue with E6000 glue. Clamp overnight and let the glue dry. Drill a small hole in the plastic on each side of the tail and insert the provided screws.
