<p>This piece replaces the factory Y fitting on most dust collectors with a 6" inlet. This will substantially reduce the turbulence of the Y fitting and increase airflow by reducing the drag through the system, resulting in fewer clogs and better chip collection. You likely will want to drill a hole through this fitting to align with your factory attachment screw hole. This does however confine you to a single hose, however if you only run one machine at a time a wheel this from machine to machine, this is likely the a better solution for you.</p>
