Dust Mask Exhalation Valve

Dust Mask Exhalation Valve

Wearing a mask can be stifling, especially if there's no exhaust on it for co2 to get out. This can be an especially big problem if you plan on 3D printing your mask out of non permeable plastic. This is a little exhalation valve I designed that can be added to any mask that consists of the valve body, a grate cap that snaps on, and a ring that secures it on the back side of the valve. All you need to do is drill or cut a 19mm hole in your mask, insert the valve and snap the lock ring on to secure it, and you're done. I tested it with a crudely cut disk of paper and it worked fantastic with that, however a piece of plastic or rubber would be optimal if you intend on using it frequently.
