Dust Shoe for 80mm Spindle

This is a Dust Shoe that I designed for use on my PrintNC, but may work for any other machine with an 80mm spindle. I designed this with a 2inch diameter opening which may or may not be right for you, but that's what you have a 3d printer for, make an adaptor or change the design if you need to ;P The top half of this design is meant to clamp on to the black ring of the 80mm spindle just below the brushed portion. You may be able to wrap some electrical tape around this area to make this print hold better if your printer is not calibrated exactly and prints too large of a diameter. Magnets -- This design was built around the use of 6mm diameter x 3mm depth neodymium magnets which are readily available on Amazon for little money. I used 8 magnets for the top half and 8 magnets for the bottom half. I put a drop of superglue into the recesses and press each of these magnets in. Try to remember that polarity matters (this is mostly important for the bottom half of the shoe, so put them in one by one and test it every time). I cut two strips to fit along the channel and doubled them up (for a total of 2mm thickness) for a little more weight.
