For some reason Sony does not include a lens hood with several models of their 4k video cameras, I am not sure what the reason behind this is. Either aesthetics or maybe they are worried about vignetting when the BOSS system is pushed to the limits. There are aftermarket petal style hoods to buy, but they don't leave a lot of space for one to use the manual ring that is on the front of the camera. No Matter, I made my own :-) The filter thread gets progressively tighter by just a bit so you can twist it on to where it is level and it will stay in place. I made sure that I do not have any vignetting issues. Very easy to print in either orientation, No need for supports or rafts.
