This is an improved version of the original design. Biggest improvement is the inclusion of mounting notches on the outside of the mount rather than a single hole on the inside. The original design did not allow much clearance for holding or hammering a nail. The new design is a notch rather than a hole to allow for any size screw or nail, with plenty of area to navigate. The entire print is slightly thicker, and an extra support beam has been included in the center, because I found that the center on the original warped over time, which although it didn't affect the function of the design, it did create an inconsistent spacing between the the DVD cases. I have again reduced the spacing for the DVD/BR cases, making for a tighter fit. This will not allow for DVD cases with extra cardboard covers. Because the fit is now so tight, I chose to cut the topmost point off of the shelves to prevent scratching of the outer plastic on the DVD case. Printed in PLA. Supports are not necessary. I printed with 60 degree overhang supports and achieved much more precise clean edges, but the difference from the print without supports is not noticeable from more than a foot away.
