DW Cash Register Pencil/Pen Holder (40 holes)

thingiverse

This thing is my Doctor Who themed cash register pencil/pen holder. As you can see, this pencil/pen holder has 40 holes, a pocket, and a tray. Each hole was made to fit any sized pen or pencil (obviously not those giant pens or pencils that are the size of your face). I originally had a pencil holder that also had holes to put them in but some of the pens/pencils just could not fit, so I decided to make one that did fit. After making a few concept sketches I decided, out of curiosity, to make it shaped like those old cash registers that have keys similar to typewriters. It turned out to be really cool looking! When I was done spacing out the holes and adding both the pocket and the tray I decided a little design on the sides and back. The sides mean "Pencil Holder Cash Register" while the back means "Who" (I couldn't figure out how to add the lines so it's not a direct translation). I'm currently using the print from the pictures above and I personly like it. I hope that you like it to. The website I used for the symbols on the sides and back: https://adrian17.github.io/Gallifreyan/ Warning: Depending on the type of infill you use I recommend having an extra roll of filament on standby, just in case it looks like you're running out of the first roll. I also would recommend keeping an eye on it as it will take at least a little over a day and at most two days to complete. Since the print is relatively big, make sure your 3D printer can print that size (the print is 185mm x 220mm x 140mm).
