Dwemer Beer Stein

Idea This is a Dwemer inspired Beer Stein. I’m very fascinated with The Elder Scrolls - mainly Oblivion and Skyrim. hen I stumbled upon the Beer Stein Contest I instantly had that picture in mind: A dwarf, standing in front of his anvil after hours of hard labor, enjoying his cold beer, using the ancient Beer Stein that already belonged to his ancestors. Imagine his relief after working on sparking metal for hours and standing near the hot fire breathing in dust and smoke. Concept The Dwemer in Skyrim seem to be inspired by the Deco Art Era borrowing elements from Old Greeks and ancient civilisations. I wanted to capture the overall look by using similar materials and simple shapes so the only surface that uses soft shading is the beer itself. The whole Beer Stein is using hard surface shading. Materials Dwemer metal (maybe brass / bronze), volcanic glass (green), normal glass and of course beer. Software Mesh created in Blender 2.79, textures completely made in Substance Painter 2.
