This is a stand to hold a Dwyer Rate-Master Polycarbonate Flowmeter (Model A) upright on a desk surface. Dwyer expects you to mount these to vertical surfaces, but if you are doing some basic testing with temporary set ups, you don't want to have to mount it. The flow meter just fits in the U-shaped slot. It could be glued in place for more security.
