I designed and simplified a world map to laser cut it out of normal steel for my living room. Several islands are modified and sharp edges are removed. I made it out of 3mm SJ235 steel and glued L-shaped profiles on the back with body glue from cars. Afterwards i mounted hooks into the wall. That way, the map is distanced 3 cm from the wall and no welding spots are needed or visible. Feel free to download and use it as you like.
