Dyer Vent Flap

Dyer Vent Flap

The dryer vent flap is used on a standard dryer exhaust vent on the exterior of a house. The exhaust from the dryer makes the flap open and when there is no exhaust the flap will fall back to cover the exhaust housing. I have added a V2 of the vent that is easier to print. It is very close to the original but has a flat edge. The PLA version I printed lasted about a year. It became very brittle due to the heat and elements. The last one I printed for a neighbor using the taulman bridge filament at 255c with a bed temp of 40c using a raft and printing on blue painters tape covered with elmers glue stick, it worked great and this filament is strong as hell. I like how the filament is somewhat flexible and very indestructible, I expect it to hold up very well for this application!
