Aircraft: Dynam C-47 / Dynam DC-3 The original plastic tail wheel was not steerable, so I printed out a new, stronger bracket and made the tail wheel steerable by adding an additional linkage to the rudder servo. The throw is adjustable. Instructions Print. Bend first part of wire, insert through bracket. Bend 90 degrees, insert over wire a small piece of tubing to keep the wheel from falling downwards. Add a servo control horn wire capture thingie (my mind is drawing a blank for the actual name). Make a loop in the wire linkage and attach to this. Glue in plane. Steer on ground and have controllable take off rolls. You'll need a replacement tail wheel (you could use the original one, but it is hard plastic and not grippy), wire, misc hardware.
