Dynamo developed in the course 41030 Design of Mechatronics at DTU. It uses a joule thief to build up enough voltage in the ciruit for the led to light up with very little mechanical power. It is intended for single hand use. The electronics are fairly simple, and you will need only few components to build your own! 2 steel rods 20mm 1 Capacitor 1 DC Motor 1 LED 1 Spring 1 Joule Theif (http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a-Joule-Thief/) The model features a fully tested clutch which we have as a parametric model, if you're interested. The gear and part of the The assembly proces is pretty self explanatory, but it you have any questions or need other formats of the CAD files to make your own modifications, feel free to contact us.
