Dynetics Lunar Lander

Dynetics Lunar Lander

thingiverse

This is Dynetics' proposal for a lunar lander for the Artemis program. This lander is one of three HLS (human landing system) proposals accepted, along with proposals from SpaceX and Blue Origin. The width of the model is 1 foot, and estimating the width of the actual lander to be about 30 feet from promotional renders comparing to the size of the pictured astronauts, the scale is approximately 30:1. Edit: There is a great VR visualization for the lander now, including dimensions. Looks like the length width and height are 9.4, 4, and 4.8 meters respectively without the drop tanks. See more at this website: https://lunar.dyneticshls.com/ The Dynetics lunar lander 3D model is from the Dynetics website. There they have a very detailed step by step guide to assembling the lander, as well as a parts download. You can find those at the bottom of the page here. https://www.dynetics.com/about/corporate-responsibility/#virtual-outreach This is the description from the site: "At Dynetics, solving hard problems is what we do best.
