This is a adapter piece to convert the standard brush head which comes with the Dyson DC45 to fit on the Makita DCL280FZ.

Recently my old Dyson died so I decided to buy a Makita vacuum instead since I wasn't really a fan of the short lasting and propriety batteries of the Dyson. I am overall very pleased with this new model, unfortunately it didn't come with a brush head. There are plenty of them on amazon, but I decided to reuse the old one from my Dyson since it is was fairly unused and I didn't want to throw it away.

BEFORE PRINTING!
Please take note that this adapter only works with the brush head. The longer crevice nozzle uses a larger inner diameter and DOESN'T fit.

I haven't felt the need to design an adapter for the crevice nozzle head since the Makita comes with one out of the box. My adapter has a tight fight at the nozzle head and rather loose fit around the vacuum for easy removal. At the moment I haven't had a problem with it falling off, but I will make adjustments in further designs if this becomes an issue over time.

Enjoy.

Print instructions

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: I3 MK3S

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.2 mm

Infill: 100 %

Filament: Prusament PETG Urban grey

Notes: Printed standing up with a Brim
