Dyson V7 V8 Battery - DeWalt 20v Conversion

My Dyson battery stopped working so I wanted to see if I could get it to use DeWalt batteries. This will take some modification of an existing Dyson battery. If you are not comfortable doing that you should probably just buy a replacement battery. I added my 3rd version that has some more space for wires. This is for the V7, I originally thought that I had a V8 Dyson. This should work the same as you are keeping the shell of the battery. Also the switch in the Dyson battery is pretty flimsy and I ended up breaking the switch while trying to solder new wires to that. The switch cannot take the heat, so try to reuse the wires attached to the switch. Mine is currently setup so that the power is constant to the vacuum and if I need turn it off I take out the battery.
