If you have a Dyson DC-25 or a similar vacuum cleaner you will have a small wheel that is part of the selector mechanism (see photos). It changes the vacuum flow between the hand wand and the floor pickup. There is a small piece that the pivot bushing of this wheel fastens into. In early units it was made of plastic and can break for no apparent reason. Clearly the original plastic part was inadequate because the replacement part (DY-91410901) is made of metal and seems to be out of stock a lot. Of course it will break when you really need to use the vacuum. When you buy one after yours falls apart you will have to order it and wait. And it will cost at least $10 with freight and taxes (as applicable). Or you can print one for a couple of pennies and have it in less than 10 minutes......... This should work for any Dyson vacuum that uses the DY-91410901 "spigot". The one I made has held up quite nicely. I hope this helps you as well.
