E-11 Hasbro Blaster Replacement Rings

I ran across a Hasbro E-11 Stormtrooper Blaster at a garage sale and, of course, the electronics didn't work because they left the batteries inside for 20 years. Trying to take it apart results in having to destroy the orange nozzle and rings on the scope. Fear not! Crack them boys open, clean or replace the electronics, and use these to cover the busted ends of this great toy. Looks better, too, in my opinion. These rings press on with a tiny bit of effort, so no glue should be necessary if you need to take it apart again. I've seen conversion kits on Etsy to change this into a more realistic prop but can't find anything to download on Thangs or Thingiverse. Maybe I'll work on that next !!
