Because they are flexible they fit snugly over the finger tips and add softness to the touch and traction for better grip. Best printed with 2-4 walls so that it has no fill. The file is a set of 5. no supports needed. Ninja Flex prints well for me at 135-45 c and 30mm speed. Soft PLA I've tried didn't add much grip.
