E Step Filament Guide

The system consists of a two-part filament guide, featuring a standard upper piece that mounts from the reel to the lower (part A) guide. The lower guide not only directs the filament straight to the extruder but also serves as an E-Step measuring tool. To utilize the E-Steps measuring tool, a length of filament is required, marked with two points 100mm apart. Align the initial mark with the indicator near the extruder and then mark the guide close to where the other mark is on the filament. When verifying E-Steps, simply mark the filament at the top mark on filament guide A, then extrude 100mm, and the mark on the filament should align with the indicator on the guide. The system was designed using Alibre Design.
