About a month ago, I had a client that needed to affix things to a lamp socket. I looked around and could not find an E26 Edison Screw base design, so I found a copy of the IEC document that described the thread details, drew it up in Alibre (GeoMagic) CAD, and then created the STL. The part worked great! It screws in really nicely into a lamp socket. In the meanwhile, someone else had done the same thing at about the same time! LOL! (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:127303) Instructions I suggest printing with the wide base down on the bed. That worked the best for me. The hole is designed so that you can tap it to accept a 1/4-20 screw to attach things to it. Be careful - don't use this where you can actually come in contact with live electricity.
